കേന്ദ്‍ദാര

ഒരു തന്ത്രിവാദ്യമാണ് കേന്ദ്‍ദാര. അതിന്റെ ഒറ്റ തന്ത്രിക്കു കുറുകെ ഒരു വില്ലുപയോഗിച്ചാണ് സാധാരണയായി ഇത് വാദനംചെയ്യുന്നത്.[1] പാട്ടുപാടി, ഭിക്ഷയെടുത്ത് ജീവിക്കുന്ന ജോഗികൾ പരമ്പരാഗതമായി ഈ സംഗീതോപകരണം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.[2] കേന്ദ്‍ദാര ഉപയോഗിച്ച് പാടുന്ന സംഗീതത്തിന്റെ നാടോടി വിഭാഗത്തെ കേന്ദ്‍ദാര ഗീതം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.[3] [4] [5] [6] പന്ത്രണ്ടാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിൽ സംസ്‌കൃതത്തെ അന്നത്തെ ഉത്‌കലരാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഔദ്യോഗിക ഭാഷയാക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഈ ഉപകരണം ജനപ്രീതി നേടി.[7] ഒഡീഷയിലെ സാന്താൾ ജനങ്ങളുും കേന്ദ്‍ദാര എന്ന വാദ്യം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു.[8] [9]
