ഇബ്ൻ ഹസം

അന്തലൂസിൽ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഒരു ബഹുമുഖപ്രതിഭയായിരുന്നു[1] ഇബ്ൻ ഹസം എന്ന ചുരുക്കപ്പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന അബൂമുഹമ്മദ് അലി ബിൻ അഹ്‌മദ് ഇബ്ൻ സഈദ് ഇബ്ൻ ഹസം[2][3][4][5]. (അറബി: أبو محمد علي بن احمد بن سعيد بن حزم 7 നവംബർ 994-15 ഓഗസ്റ്റ് 1064)
നിയമജ്ഞൻ, ചരിത്രകാരൻ, തത്വജ്ഞാനി,സാഹിത്യകാരൻ, ദൈവശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞൻ, ഹദീഥ് പണ്ഡിതൻ എന്നിങ്ങനെ വിവിധ മേഖലകളിൽ ശോഭിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം, കൊർദോവ ഖിലാഫത്തിലായിരുന്നു ജനിച്ചത് (ഇന്നത്തെ സ്പെയിനിലെ കൊർഡോവ).
നാനൂറോളം ഗ്രന്ഥങ്ങൾ എഴുതിയതിൽ നാല്പതോളം എണ്ണം ഇന്നും ലഭ്യമാണ്[4].
