വറ്റ

കേരളത്തിലെ കടൽപ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പ്രധാന മത്സ്യമാണ് വറ്റ(Giant trevally).(ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Caranx ignobilis)170cm നീളവും 80Kg വരെ തൂക്കവും വരുന്ന വറ്റ മത്സ്യം കേരളത്തിലെ വിപണിയിൽ ലഭിക്കുന്ന ഒന്നാണ്.
