ഇന്ത്യക്കാരിയായ ബോക്സർ ആണ് സർജുബാല ദേവി. ഇംഗ്ലീഷ്: Sarjubala Devi (Hindi: सरजूबाला देवी,) മണിപ്പൂർ സ്വദേശിയാണ്.[1] [2]

തിരുത്തുകമണിപ്പൂരിലെ തൗബാൽ ജില്ലയിലെ നോങ്പോക് ലോറെംബാം എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ 1993 ജൂൺ 1 നു ഒരു കർഷക കുടുംബത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. പൂർണ്ണ നാമം സംജെത്‌സബാം സർജുബാല ദേവി എന്നാണ്. ഇന്ത്യൻ ബോക്സിങ്ങ് ഇതിഹാസമായ മേരി കോമിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രചോദനം ഉൾകൊണ്ട് സർജുബാല 2005 ൽ സ്കൂളിൽ ബോക്സിങ്ങ് പരിശീലനത്തിനു ചേർന്നു. 2 വർഷശേഷം ഇംഫാലിലെ സ്പോർട്സ് അതോറിറ്റി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ബോക്സിങ്ങ് പരിശീലന കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ചേർന്നു പരിശീലനം ആരംഭിച്ചു.[3]
കായിക ജീവിതം
തിരുത്തുക48 കിലോ [4] വിഭാഗത്തിൽ 2011 ലെൻലോക യൂത്ത് ചാമ്പ്യൻഷിപ്പിൽ സ്വർണ്ണം നേടി അതേ വർഷം തന്നെ ദേശീയ സീനിയർ ചാമ്പ്യനുമായി.[5] നിരവധി ദേശീയ അന്തർദേശീയ ചാമ്പ്യൻ ഷിപ്പുകളിൽ മെഡലുകൾ വാരിക്കൂട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ട് [6]
