സബാഹ് അൽ അഹ്‌മദ് അൽ ജാബിർ അൽ സബാഹ്

കുവൈത്തിലെ അമീറും കുവൈറ്റ് സൈനിക സേനയുടെ കമാൻഡറുമായിരുന്നു സബാഹ് അൽ അഹ്‌മദ് അൽ ജാബിർ അൽ സബാഹ് ( അറബി: الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح  ; 16 ജൂൺ 1929-29 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 2020)[1]

2006 ജനുവരി 29 മുതൽ 2020 സെപ്റ്റംബറിൽ തന്റെ മരണം വരെ കുവൈത്ത് അമീർ ആയിരുന്നു. ശൈഖ് അഹ്‌മദ് അൽ ജാബിർ അൽ സബാഹിന്റെ നാലാമത്തെ മകനായിരുന്നു അമീർ സബാഹ്.

1929 ജൂൺ 16 നാണ് സബാഹിന്റെ ജനനം. [2] 1930 കളിൽ അൽ മുബാറകിയ്യ സ്കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് പ്രാഥമിക വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടിയ അദ്ദേഹം അദ്ധ്യാപകരുടെ കീഴിൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. ശൈഖ് ജാബിർ അൽ അഹ്‌മദ് അൽ സബാഹിന്റെ അർദ്ധസഹോദരനായിരുന്നു അദ്ദേഹം. വിമാനാപകടത്തെ തുടർന്ന് സഹോദരൻ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. [3] 2003-ൽ കുവൈത്ത് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെടുകയായിരുന്നു സബാഹ്[4]. അതിനുമുൻപ് 1963 മുതൽ 2003 വരെ വിദേശകാര്യമന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു.[5] വിദേശകാര്യ മന്ത്രിയായിരിക്കെ തന്നെ ഉപപ്രധാനമന്ത്രി, ആക്റ്റിങ് ധനമന്ത്രി[6] തുടങ്ങിയ സ്ഥാനങ്ങളും വഹിച്ചു വന്നു.

2006 ൽ അമീറിന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ അനുശോചനം അറിയിക്കാൻ യുഎസ് വൈസ് പ്രസിഡന്റ് ഡിക്ക് ചെന്നി പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി ഷെയ്ഖ് സബയുമായി കൂടിക്കാഴ്ച നടത്തി.


2006 ജനുവരി 15 ന്‌, അമീർ‌, ഷെയ്ഖ്‌ ജാബർ‌ മരിച്ചതോടെ, കുവൈത്തിലെ കിരീടാവകാശിയായ ഷെയ്ഖ് സാദിനെ പുതിയ അമീറാക്കി. [7] എന്നാൽ ആരോഗ്യപ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ മുൻനിർത്തി ശൈഖ് സാദ് രാജിവെക്കുകയും [8] [9] 2006 ജനുവരി 24-ന് പുതിയ അമീറായി ശൈഖ് സബാഹിനെ നാമനിർദ്ദേശം നടത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു.[10] 2006 ജനുവരി 29 ന് ദേശീയ അസംബ്ലിയുടെ അംഗീകാരത്തോടെ അദ്ദേഹം സത്യപ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്തു.
