സഞ്ചിത നിധി

കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാരോ സംസ്ഥാനസർക്കാരോ നികുതി, തീരുവ, ലൈസൻസ് ഫീസ്,മറ്റു വരുമാനം, വായ്പ വാങ്ങിയതോ, തിരികെ വന്നതോ ആയ തുക എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടെ സമാഹരിച്ചു വച്ചിരിയ്ക്കുന്നതിനെയാണ് സഞ്ചിതനിധി അഥവാ കൺസോളിഡേറ്റഡ് ഫണ്ട് എന്നു വിളിയ്ക്കുന്നത്. കടം വാങ്ങുന്നതും കടം തിരിച്ചു വരുന്നതും ഇതിലേക്കാണ്. ഈ ഫണ്ടിൽ നിന്നും ചിലവഴിക്കണമെങ്കിൽ പാർലിമെന്റിന്റെ അനുമതി വേണം. ഭാരതത്തിന്റെ ഭരണഘടനയുടെ അനുഛേദം 266 (1) ഇതിനെക്കുറിച്ച് പരാമർശിയ്ക്കുന്നു.[1] [2]

All expenditure of the government is incurred from this fund and no amount can be withdrawn from the Fund without authorization from the Parliament.
