ഷീല ബൊർതാക്കൂർ
പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാരം നേടിയ സാമൂഹ്യപ്രവർത്തകയും സാഹിത്യകാരിയുമാണ് ഷീല ബൊർതാക്കൂർ. സാധോ ആസോം ലേഖിക സമാരോഹ് സമിതിയു‌‌ടെ സ്ഥാപക പ്രസിഡന്റാണ് (SALSS). [1]

1935 ൽ ജനിച്ചു. കു‌ട്ടിക്കാലം ഡാക്കയിലായിരുന്നു.[2] നർത്തകനായ സരനാൻ ബോർതാക്കൂറെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. സ്കൂൾ അധ്യാപികയായി ജോലി ആരംഭിച്ച ഷീല പഠനം തുടരുകയും ബിരുദാനന്തര ബിരുദവും ഗവേഷണ ബിരുദവും നേടുകയും ചെയ്തു. ആസാമിലെ സാമൂഹ്യ മാറ്റം എന്നതായിരുന്നു ഗവേഷണ വിഷയം. പിന്നീ‌ട് കോളേജ് അധ്യാപികയായി.[3] 2008, പത്മശ്രീ ലഭിച്ചു.[4]
