വെറോണിക്ക വെറോണീസ്
1872-ൽ ദാന്തെ ഗബ്രിയൽ റോസെറ്റി അലക്സാവൈൽഡിങിനെ മാതൃകയാക്കി ലേഡി ലിലിത്ത് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തോടൊപ്പം ചിത്രീകരിച്ച ഒരു എണ്ണഛായാചിത്രമാണ് വെറോണിക്ക വെറോണീസ്.[1]റോസെറ്റി തന്റെ മികച്ച ഉപഭോക്താക്കളിലൊരാളായ പ്രമുഖ കപ്പൽ വ്യാപാരിയായ ഫ്രെഡറിക്ക് റിച്ചാർഡ്സ് ലെയ്ലൻഡന് ഈ ചിത്രം വിറ്റിരുന്നു.[2] 1923-ൽ സാമുവൽ ബാൻക്രോഫ്റ്റ്, ഈ ചിത്രം ഏറ്റെടുക്കുകയും 1935-ൽ ഡെൽവാർ ആർട്ട് മ്യൂസിയത്തിലേക്ക് സംഭാവന നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു.
