റെയ്ഫ് ബദാവി
സൗദി എഴുത്തുകാരനും ബ്ലോഗറും മതമൗലിക വാദത്തിനെതിരായ വിമത സ്വരവുമായിരുന്നു റെയ്ഫ് ബദാവി.മതനിന്ദ നടത്തിയെന്നാരോപിച്ച് 2012ൽ സൗദി ഭരണകൂടം ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു[1].2013ൽ ഏഴ് വർഷം തടവും 600 ചാട്ടയടിയും ശിക്ഷയായി വിധിച്ചു.ശിക്ഷ കുറവായിപ്പോയെന്നു ചൂണ്ടിക്കാട്ടി 2014-ൽ ശിക്ഷ 10 വർഷം തടവും പത്തു ലക്ഷം (അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു ദശലക്ഷം) സൗദി റിയാലും 1000 ചാട്ടവാറടിയുമായി ഉയർത്തുകയുണ്ടായി[2].
