രാമൻ സുകുമാർ
ഇന്ത്യക്കാരനായ ഒരു പരിസ്ഥിതി ശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞനാണ് രാമൻ സുകുമാർ.[1] ബാംഗ്ലൂർ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയൻസിലെ സെന്റർ ഫോർ ഇക്കോളജിക്കൽ സയൻസിൽ പ്രൊഫസർ. ആനകൾ, മനുഷ്യ–മൃഗ സംഘർഷം, കാലാവസ്ഥാ വ്യതിയാനം, മഴക്കാടുകളുടെ പരിസ്ഥിതി വിജ്ഞാനം എന്നിവയിൽ പഠനങ്ങൾ നടത്തി നിരവധി ഗവേഷണ പ്രബന്ധങ്ങൾ രചിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.[2]

തമിഴ്നാട്ടിലെ ചെന്നൈയിൽ ജനനം (ഏപ്രിൽ 3, 1955). മദ്രാസ്‌ സർവകലാശാല; ഇന്ത്യൻ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് സയൻസ്, ബാംഗ്ലൂർ; പ്രിൻസ്ടൺ സർവകലാശാല എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിൽ പഠനം.
