മേബെൽ ഡവ് ഡംക്വ
മേബെൽ ഡവ് ഡംക്വ (1905[1]–1984) ഗോൾഡ് കോസ്റ്റിൽ ജനിച്ച ഒരു പത്രപ്രവർത്തകയും രാഷ്ട്രീയ ആക്റ്റിവിസ്റ്റും സാഹിത്യകാരിയും പടിഞ്ഞാറൻ ആഫ്രിക്കയിലെ ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള ആദ്യസ്ത്രീയുമാണ്. അവർ പത്രങ്ങളിൽ ലേഖനം എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ പല തൂലികാനാമങ്ങളിൽ ആണവ എഴുതിയത്. ഘാനയുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യത്തിനുമുമ്പ് 1950കളിൽ രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിൽ കടന്നു. മേബെൽ ഡവ് ഡംക്വ ഏതൊരു ആഫ്രിക്കൻ രാജ്യത്തിലേയും ലെജിസ്ലേറ്റീവ് അസംബ്ലിയിൽ ആദ്യമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട വനിതയാണ്.
