2009ൽ ഭാരത സർക്കാരിന്റെ പത്മശ്രീ പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ച സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവർത്തകയും എഴുത്തുകാരിയുമാണ് ബിൽക്കീസ് ഐ. ലത്തീഫ്. ആന്ധ്രപ്രദേശിലെ ചേരികൾ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് സാമൂഹ്യ പ്രവർത്തനം നടത്തി. ,[1][2] [3]അനേകം ലേഖനങ്ങളും അഞ്ച് പുസ്തകങ്ങളും എഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
