Usage

(Although worded for use with IPs, the template is suitable with (registered) usernames, in situations where that wording won't cause confusion.)

The two parameters are:

the date of the edit
the IP # (dotted quad) (or the username) -- NOT including "User:"

Examples:

Note that this is the order they appear in on history and diffs pages; like {{user2}}, this template inverts their order in the transcluded or subst'ed text, imitating the order in a four-tilde signature.
