Usage

This template is put at the top of a biographical article to explain to readers which part of a Korean person's name is the family name. If desired, the person's generation name can also be stated. The template will automatically link to the article (if one exists) of the specified family name. For example,

will display

ഇതൊരു കൊറിയൻ പേരാണ്; ഇതിൽ കുടുംബപ്പേര് Kim എന്നാണ്.

If the family name article does not follow the "NAME (Korean name)" naming convention, a link can be created manually, e.g.

will display
