ഫലകം:ISO 639 name mg is part of a series that resolves the ISO 639-1, ISO 639-2 and ISO 639-3 codes to language names.
It is used by {{Translated page}} with language code mg, for example: {{Translated page |mg |name of page at Malagasy Wikipedia}}. This template is used to generate a link to the Malagasy Wikipedia and could be used to include pages in Category:Pages translated from Malagasy Wikipedia (may be created using {{Translated sub-cat |mg}}).
Former usage
The following templates now use Module:Lang, which stores the language code and name data in Module:Language/data/iana languages, Module:Language/data/ISO 639-3, and Module:Language/data/wp languages.
- {{Lang|mg| some text in Malagasy}} wraps the text with <span lang="mg"> and includes articles in Category:Articles containing Malagasy-language text. Also available is {{Lang-mg |some text in Malagasy}} which displays as Malagasy: some text in Malagasy.
- {{R from other language|mg|("to" language code)}} includes pages in Category:Redirects from Malagasy-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect from alternative language category}}).
- {{R from alternative language|("from" language code)|mg}} includes pages in Category:Redirects to Malagasy-language terms (may be created using {{Redirect to alternative language category}}).
