[[കന്ദഹാർ പ്രവിശ്യ|കന്ദഹാർ പ്രവിശ്യയുടെ]] ആസ്ഥാനമായ ഈ നഗരം, രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ തെക്കുഭാഗത്ത് സമുദ്രനിരപ്പിൽ നിന്ന് ഏതാണ്ട് 1005 മീറ്റർ ഉയരത്തിൽ കിടക്കുന്നു.
