രാജ്യനിർമ്മാണ പ്രക്രിയയിൽ നേതൃത്വം നൽകിയ ശൈഖ് സായിദ്, ശൈഖ് റാഷിദ് എന്നീ ഭരണാധികാരികളെയും അവരുടെ സഹോദരങ്ങളെയും ഓർമ്മിക്കാനെന്നോണമാണ് ഐക്യ അറബ് എമിറേറ്റിൽ പതാക ദിനം നടത്തുന്നത്.ഐക്യ അറബ് എമിറേറ്റിലെ തദ്ദേശിയർക്ക് ദേശീയമായ ഉത്സാഹത്തിൻറെ ദിനംകൂടിയാണ് ഇത്.[1]
