നന്ദ് ലാൽ
മാസ്റ്റർ നന്ദ് ലാൽ ( ഹിന്ദി : मास्टर नंद लाल; 1 ജനുവരി 1887 - ഏപ്രിൽ 17, 1959) എന്നുമറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ജരൻവാലയിലെ നന്ദ്ലാൽ, ഇന്ത്യയുടെ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യസമര സേനാനിയും രാഷ്ട്രീയ നേതാവുമായിരുന്നു. കിഴക്കൻ പഞ്ചാബിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടനാ സമിതിയിലെ അംഗമായിരുന്നു നന്ദ് ലാൽ.

ആദ്യകാലം തിരുത്തുക
1887 ലാണ് നന്ദ് ലാൽ ജനിച്ചത്. പിതാവ് ശ്രീ കല റാം, ശ്രീമതി രാമി ബായി എന്നിവരുടെ ഏക മകനായിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹത്തെക്കാൾ 6-7 വയസ്സ് ഇളയ സഹോദരിമാർ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. 1899-ൽ പഞ്ചാബിലെ ഫസിൽക, ഫിറോസ്പൂർ ജില്ലകളിൽ ഒരു കലാസ്വാദക എഴുത്തുകാരനായി കലാം റാം ജോലിചെയ്തു. 1899-ൽ ലാലിന് 12 വയസ്സുള്ളപ്പോഴായിരുന്നു അന്ത്യം.
പിതാവിന്റെ മരണത്തിനുശേഷം നന്ദയുടെ അമ്മ ശ്രീമതി രാമ ബായിയുടെയും അവരുടെ മറ്റു രണ്ടുകുട്ടികളുടെയും സംരക്ഷണം നന്ദ് ലാലിനായി. 1904-ൽ പാകിസ്താനിലെ ഝാംഗിലെ കെജിസി ഹിന്ദു ഹൈസ്കൂളിൽ നിന്ന് 10-ാം ക്ലാസ് പരീക്ഷ പാസ്സായി. അതിനുശേഷം ലൈയാൽപൂറിലെ ഡപ്യൂട്ടി കമ്മീഷണറുടെ ഓഫീസിൽ ഗുമസ്തനായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അമ്മാവൻ ഇതിനകം റവന്യൂ വകുപ്പിൽ ജോലിചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്നു. എന്നിരുന്നാലും, അഴിമതി നടക്കുന്നതിനാൽ നന്ദ് ഉടൻ തന്നെ രാജിവെച്ചു.. ഷാഹ്പൂരിൽ പരാതി എഴുതുന്ന എഴുത്തുകാരനാകാൻ അദ്ദേഹം തയ്യാറായി. അതിന്റെ പരീക്ഷ പാസ്സാകുകയും ഒരു പരാതി എഴുത്തുകാരനായി, ഭാൽവാൾ പട്ടണത്തിൽ തന്റെ ജോലി ആരംഭിച്ചു.
