ധീരയായ പെൺകുട്ടി
ക്രിസ്റ്റെൻ വിസ്ബാൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച വെങ്കല പ്രതിമയാണ് 'ധീരയായ പെൺകുട്ടി'. ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ വോൾ സ്ട്രീറ്റിലെ പ്രസിദ്ധമായ കാളക്കൂറ്റന്റെ പ്രതിമയെ പേടിയേതുമില്ലാതെ നോക്കിനിൽക്കുന്ന രീതിയിലാണ് പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.[2] 2017 ലെ വനിതാ ദിനത്തിന്റെ തലേന്നാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്.[3] 1.21 മീറ്റർ ഉയരമുള്ളതാണ് ഈ പ്രതിമ. ലിംഗ അസമത്വം, കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് ലോകത്തെ സ്ത്രീ-പുരുഷ വേതനത്തിലെ അന്തരം എന്നിവയിലേക്ക് ശ്രദ്ധക്ഷണിക്കാനാണ് ഇവിടെ ഈ പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്.[4] ഒരു ഇൻഡക്സ് ഫണ്ടിന്റെ പ്രചരണാർത്ഥമാണ് ഇത് സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്.

വിമർശനം
തിരുത്തുകകോർപ്പറേറ്റ് ഫെമിനിസത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണിതെന്ന് ഒരു വിഭാഗം സ്ത്രീകൾ വിമർശനമുന്നയിച്ചിരുന്നു.[8][9][10]
1987-ലെ വിപണിത്തകർച്ചയിൽനിന്ന് കരകയറിയ അമേരിക്കൻ ജനതയുടെ കരുത്തിന്റെയും അധികാരത്തിന്റെയും പ്രതീകമായാണ് 1989-ൽ വോൾസ്ട്രീറ്റിൽ കാളക്കൂറ്റന്റെ പ്രതിമ സ്ഥാപിച്ചത്. ഇതിന്റെ ശില്പിയായ ഇറ്റാലിൻ കലാകാരൻ ആർതുറോ ഡി മൊഡിച്ച ഇത് പരസ്യ തന്ത്രം മാത്രമാണെന്ന് വിമർശിച്ചിരുന്നു.
