1631-ൽ ജുഡിത്ത് ലെയ്‌സ്റ്റർ വരച്ച ഒരു ചിത്രമാണ് ദി പ്രൊപ്പോസിഷൻ. ഇപ്പോൾ ഈ ചിത്രം ഹേഗിലെ മൗറിറ്റ്ഷൂയിസിൽ പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് മാൻ ഓഫെറിങ് മണി ടു യങ് വുമൺ എന്ന് ശീർഷകം നല്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു. [2][3] ഒരു സ്ത്രീ മെഴുകുതിരി വെളിച്ചത്തിൽ തയ്യൽ ചെയ്യുന്നതായി ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഒരു പുരുഷൻ അവരുടെ മേൽ ചാരി ഇടത് കൈകൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ വലതു തോളിൽ സ്പർശിക്കുന്നു. അവൻ അവൾക്ക് നാണയങ്ങൾ അവന്റെ വലതുകയ്യിൽ വാഗ്ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു. പക്ഷേ അവൾ ഈ ഓഫർ അവഗണിക്കുകയും അവരുടെ തയ്യലിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
