തിയോഡോർ പോർട്ടർ "ടാഡ് " ഫ്രണ്ട് (ജനനം സെപ്റ്റംബർ 25, 1962) ദ ന്യൂയോർക്കർ മാസികയുടെ സ്റ്റാഫ് റൈറ്ററും "ലെറ്റർ ഫ്രം കാലിഫോർണിയ" മാസികയുടെ എഴുത്തുകാരനുമാണ്.

ന്യൂയോർക്കിലെ ബഫിലോയിൽ ജനിച്ച ഫ്രണ്ട് സ്വാർത്ഥമോറിലെ പെൻസിൽവാനിയയിൽ (അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പിതാവ്, തിയോഡോർ ഫ്രണ്ട്, സ്വാർത്ഥമോർ കോളേജിന്റെ പ്രസിഡന്റായിരുന്നു) ആയിരുന്നു വളർന്നത്. ഷിപ്ലി സ്കൂൾ , ഹാർവാർഡ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയിൽ നിന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം നേടി.

1998-ൽ ദ ന്യൂ യോർക്കറിൽ സ്റ്റാഫ് എഴുത്തുകാരനാകുന്നതിന് മുൻപ് എസ്ക്വയർ ഉൾപ്പെടെ വിവിധ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരണങ്ങളിൽ സഹായിക്കുന്ന ഒരു എഡിറ്ററായിരുന്നു ഫ്രണ്ട്. [1] "ലെറ്റർ ഫ്രം കാലിഫോർണിയ" മാസികയിൽ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ കൃതികളുണ്ട്.[1] 2001-ൽ, ആർട്ടിക്കിളുകളുടെ ശേഖരണമായ "ലോസ്റ്റ് ഇൻ മംഗോളിയ : ട്രാവൽസ് ഇൻ ഹോളിവുഡ് ആൻഡ് അദർ ഫോറിൻ ലാൻഡ്സ് " പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു. ചീയർഫുൾ മണി: മി, മൈ ഫാമിലി, ആൻഡ് ദ ലാസ്റ്റ് ഡേയ്സ് ഓഫ് വാസ്പ് സ്പ്ലെൻഡർ എന്ന അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഓർമ്മക്കുറിപ്പുകൾ 2009-ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചു.[1]

ഫ്രണ്ട് ഫുഡ് എഴുത്തുകാരിയായ അമാൻഡ ഹെസ്സറെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു. ഇരട്ടക്കുട്ടികളുളള അവർ ബ്രുക്ലിനിലാണ് താമസിക്കുന്നത്.
