ജോർജിയോ വസാരി
ഇറ്റാലിയൻ ചിത്രകാരനും,കലാചരിത്രകാരനുമായിരുന്നു ജോർജിയോ വസാരി (Giorgio Vasari 30 ജൂലായ് 1511 – 27 ജൂൺ 1574).വാസ്തുശില്പിയായും വസാരി അറിയപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു.കലാസംബന്ധിയായ ചരിത്രപഠനങ്ങൾക്ക് അടിത്തറയിട്ടയാളെന്ന നിലയിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പഠനങ്ങൾ വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ട്.Lives of the Most Excellent Painters, Sculptors, and Architects എന്ന ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ കർത്താവുമാണ് വസാരി.[2]

ഫ്ലോറൻസിൽ ഉഫിസി,പാലസോ പിത്തി എന്നിവയെ തമ്മിൽ ബന്ധിപ്പിയ്ക്കുന്ന നീണ്ട ഒരു ഇടനാഴി വസാരി രൂപകല്പന ചെയ്തതാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ വസാരി ഇടനാഴി എന്നപേരിൽ ഇത് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. കൂടാതെ സാന്റാ മരിയ നോവല്ലയിലേയും,സാന്റാ ക്രോസ്സിലെ പള്ളികളുടേയും നവീകരണപ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ,പിസ്തോയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ബസലിക്കയുടെ നിർമ്മാണം വസാരിയാണ് നിർവ്വഹിച്ചത്.[3]
