ജനാധിപത്യ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസരീതി
ജനാധിപത്യ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസരീതി ജനാധിപത്യം ലക്ഷ്യവും പഠനരിതിയും ആയിരിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സങ്കൽപ്പനമാണ്. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തിൽ ജനാധിപത്യമൂല്യങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ടുവരികയും ഒരു തുല്യതയുള്ള സമൂഹത്തിൽ സ്വയം നിർണ്ണയാവകാശവും അതിനോടൊപ്പം നീതി, ബഹുമാന്യത, പരസ്പരവിശ്വാസം എന്നിവയും ഉൾക്കൊള്ളിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുക ആണ് ലക്ഷ്യം. ജനാധിപത്യപരമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം അദ്ധ്യാപകന്റെ ശബ്ദത്തിനു തുല്യമായിരിക്കും പഠിതാവിന്റെ ശബ്ദവും അതിനാൽ അത് പലപ്പോഴും വിമോചനപരമായിരിക്കും.[1]
ചരിത്രം തിരുത്തുക
1600കൾ തുടങ്ങിയ ഒരു ചരിത്രം ജനാധിപത്യപരമായ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സമ്പ്രദായത്തിനുണ്ട്. അത് അനേകം വ്യക്തികളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടാണ് രൂപപ്പെട്ടത്. ഈ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ തത്ത്വശാസ്ത്രത്തിനു കേന്ദ്രീയമായ ഒരു വ്യക്തിത്വമോ സ്ഥാപനമോ ഒരു പ്രത്യേക രാജ്യമോ ഉണ്ടാകില്ല. [2]

While Locke and Rousseau were concerned only with the education of the children of the wealthy, in the 19th century Leo Tolstoy set up a school for peasant children. This was on his own estate at Yasnaya Polyana, Russia, in the late 19th century. He tells us that the school evolved freely from principles introduced by teachers and pupils; that in spite of the preponderating influence of the teacher, the pupil had always had the right not to come to school, or, having come, not to listen to the teacher, and that the teacher had the right not to admit a pupil, and was able to use all the influence he could muster to win over the community, where the children were always in the majority.[3][4]
