കൗൺസിൽ ഓൺ അമേരിക്കൻ-ഇസ്‌ലാമിക് റിലേഷൻസ് (CAIR)
അമേരിക്കയിലെ മുസ്‌ലിം സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ പൗരാവകാശങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഒരു സംഘടനയാണ് കൗൺസിൽ ഓൺ അമേരിക്കൻ-ഇസ്‌ലാമിക് റിലേഷൻസ് (CAIR, കെയർ എന്ന ചുരുക്കപ്പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു).[4][5][6] വാഷിങ്ടണിലെ കാപ്പിറ്റോൾ ഹില്ലിലാണ് സംഘടനയുടെ ആസ്ഥാനം. രാജ്യവ്യാപകമായി പ്രാദേശിക ഘടകങ്ങൾ നിലവിലുണ്ട്. പൗരാവകാശ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ, മാധ്യമ ബന്ധങ്ങൾ, പൗര ഇടപെടൽ, വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം എന്നിവയിലൂടെ CAIR അമേരിക്കയിലെ മുസ്ലീങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ സാമൂഹികവും നിയമപരവും രാഷ്ട്രീയവുമായ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.

മുസ്‌ലിം ബ്രദർഹുഡുമായി[7][8] സംഘടനക്ക് അടുപ്പമുണ്ടെന്ന് വിമർശകർ ചൂണ്ടിക്കാണിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെങ്കിലും[9][10][8] സംഘടന അതിനെ നിഷേധിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്.

മുസ്‌ലിംകൾക്കും ഇസ്‌ലാമിനുമെതിരായി അമേരിക്കൻ സമൂഹത്തിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന മുൻവിധികളെ ചെറുക്കുക, നേരിടുന്ന വിവേചനം അവസാനിപ്പിക്കുക എന്നീ ഉദ്ദേശ്യത്തോടെ 1994-ലാണ് കെയർ രൂപീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇതിനെയൊക്കെ മറികടന്ന് സാമൂഹ്യ ഇടപെടലുകൾ നടത്താൻ സംഘടന സമൂഹത്തെ പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചു വന്നു[11].
