'ക്വാപൌ' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്, ഐക്യനാടുകളിലെ ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ ഇന്ത്യൻ വർഗ്ഗമാണ്. ഈ വർഗ്ഗക്കാർ “അർക്കൻസാസ്”, “ഉഗാക്സ്പ” (Ugahxpa) എന്നീ പേരുകളിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇവർ ഏകീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട ഒരു സമൂഹമായി ഒഹിയോ താഴ്വരയുടെ മദ്ധ്യപടിഞ്ഞാറു ഭാഗത്ത് വസിക്കുന്നു. ഈ വർഗ്ഗക്കാർ ചരിത്രപരമായി മിസ്സിസ്സിപ്പി നദിയുടെ പടിഞ്ഞാറു വശത്തായി ദേശാന്തരഗമനം നടത്തി എത്തുകയും പിന്നീട് ഇപ്പോൾ അർക്കാൻസാസ് സംസ്ഥാനമായിത്തീർന്ന പ്രദേശത്ത് മാറി താമസമുറപ്പിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ മാറ്റം അവരുടെ വർഗ്ഗത്തിൻറെ പേരിനും നിദാനമായി.
