ഹിപ്പോപ്പൊട്ടാമസ് വർഗത്തിൽ പെട്ട മൺ മറഞ്ഞു പോയ ഒരു സസ്തനിയാണ് കെനിയപ്പൊട്ടാമസ്. ഏകദേശം 16 - 18 ദശ ലക്ഷം വർഷങ്ങൾക്ക് മുൻപ്പ് ആഫ്രിക്കയിൽ ജീവിച്ചിരുന്ന ഇവയുടെ ഫോസ്സിൽ കണ്ടുകിട്ടിയിടുള്ളത് കെനിയയിൽ നിന്നുമാണ് .
