കാത്തി മെലുവ
കറ്റെവാൻ "കാത്തി" മെലുവ (/ˈmɛluːə/; Georgian: ქეთევან „ქეთი“ მელუა IPA: [kʰɛtʰɛvɑn mɛluɑ])[2] ഒരു ജോർജ്ജിയൻ-ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് ഗായിക, ഗാനരചയിതാവ്, സംഗീതജ്ഞ എന്നി നിലകളിലൊക്കെ പ്രശസ്തയാണ്. 1984 സെപ്റ്റംബർ 16 നാണ് ജനിച്ചത്. അവർ ആദ്യം എട്ടാം വയസിൽ വടക്കൻ അയർലൻറിലേയ്ക്കും പിന്നീട് 14ാം വയസിൽ ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലേയ്ക്കും പോയി.[3] 2003 ലാണ് ആദ്യമായി ഒരു ഗാനം ആലപിക്കുന്നത്. 2006 ൽ യു.കെയിലെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ പ്രശസ്തയായ യുവഗായികയായി അറിയപ്പെട്ടു.[4] 2003 ൽ 19 വയസു പ്രായമുള്ളപ്പോൾ “Call Off the Search” എന്ന പേരിൽ ആദ്യ ആൽബം പുറത്തിറക്കി. ഇത് ഹിറ്റ് ആൽബങ്ങളുടെ ഏറ്റവും മുകളിൽ ഇടംപിടിക്കുകയും 1.8 ബില്ല്യൺ കോപ്പികൾ റിലീസ് ചെയ്ത് ആദ്യ അഞ്ചുമാസങ്ങൾക്കുള്ളിൽ വിറ്റഴിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു.[5] രണ്ടാമത്തെ ആൽബമായ “Piece by Piece” 2005 സെപ്റ്റംബർ മാസത്തിൽ റിലീസ് ചെയ്യുകയും റിക്കാർഡ് വിൽപ്പന തുടരുകയും ചെയ്തു.[6] 2007 ൽ “Pictures” എന്ന പേരിൽ മൂന്നാമത്തെ സ്റ്റുഡിയോ ആൽബം പുറത്തിറക്കിയിരുന്നു.[7]
