ഏയ്ഞ്ചൽ ഓക്ക്
സൌത്ത് കരോലിനിലെ ചാൾസ്റ്റണിനടുത്തുള്ള ജോൺസ് ഐലൻഡിലെ ഏയ്ഞ്ചൽ ഓക് പാർക്കിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സതേൺ ലൈവ് ഓക്ക് (Quercus virginiana) ആണ് ഏയ്ഞ്ചൽ ഓക്ക്.(Angel Oak). ഈ വൃക്ഷം 400-500 വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ളതായി കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. [1] ഇത് 66.5 അടി (20 മീറ്റർ) ഉയരവും, 28 അടി (8.5 മീ) ചുറ്റളവും, കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. 17,200 ചതുരശ്ര അടി (1,600 ചതുരശ്ര അടി) ചുറ്റും തണലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. ഇതിന്റെ ദീർഘമായ ശാഖയിൽ 187 അടി നീളമുണ്ട് [2] ലൈവ് ഓക്ക് സൊസൈറ്റിയിൽ രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള 210- ാമത്തെ മരമാണ് ഏയ്ഞ്ചൽ ഓക്ക്.[3][4][5]
