എലിയാൻ വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കി (ജീവിതകാലം: 5 ജൂലൈ 1926 - 13 നവംബർ 2015) ഒരു ബെൽജിയൻ അഭിഭാഷകയും ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റുമായിരുന്നു.

മാതാപിതാക്കളുടെ രണ്ട് പെൺമക്കളിൽ ഒരാളായി 1926 ജൂലൈ 5 ന് ഗെന്റിലാണ് എലിയാൻ വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കി ജനിച്ചത്. ഒന്നാം ലോക മഹായുദ്ധാനന്തരം ബെൽജിയത്തിലേക്ക് കുടിയേറിയ റഷ്യൻ ജൂതന്മാരായിരുന്നു അവരുടെ മാതാപിതാക്കൾ. ലൈസി എമൈൽ ജാക്മെയ്‌നിൽ അവർ പഠനത്തിന് ചേർന്നെങ്കിലും ഹോളോകോസ്റ്റ് അവരുടെ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസത്തെ തടസ്സപ്പെടുത്തി. ജർമ്മൻ അധിനിവേശ സേന അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ജൂത വിരുദ്ധ നിയന്ത്രണങ്ങൾ, ലീജിലെ ബെനഡിക്റ്റൈൻ സഹോദരിമാരുമായി ചേർന്ന് തെറ്റായ പേരിൽ വിദ്യാലയ ജീവിതം പൂർത്തിയാക്കാൻ വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കിയെ നിർബന്ധിച്ചു.[1][2][3][4][5]
വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കി 1944-ൽ പ്രാഥമിക നിയമ ബിരുദത്തിനായി ബ്രസ്സൽസിലെ സെന്റ്-ലൂയിസ് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റിയിൽ ചേർന്നു. 1950 ജൂലൈ 7-ന് യൂണിവേഴ്‌സിറ്റെ ലിബ്രെ ഡി ബ്രക്‌സെല്ലെസിൽനിന്ന് നിയമത്തിൽ ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് നേടിയ അതേ വർഷം തന്നെ അവർ ബാറിലേക്ക് വിളിയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടു. ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് നേടിയ സമയത്ത് അവർ ആദ്യമായി മേരി-തെരേസ് കുവെല്ലിസ്, ഒഡെറ്റ് ഡി വൈന്റർ എന്നിവരെ കണ്ടുമുട്ടി. 1952-ൽ കുവെല്ലിസിനൊപ്പം ജാൻസൺ സമ്മാനം നേടുന്ന ആദ്യ വനിതയായി. 1958-ൽ വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കി ഇൻറർനാഷണൽ സോഷ്യൽ ലോ, കംപാരേറ്റീവ് സോഷ്യൽ ലോ, കമ്മ്യൂണിറ്റി സോഷ്യൽ ലോ എന്നീ മൂന്ന് നിയമ ബിരുദങ്ങൾ നേടി.[6][7][8][9][10]
ഒരു ശക്തയായ ഒരു ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റായിരുന്ന വോഗൽ-പോൾസ്കി, 1966-ൽ FN ഹെർസ്റ്റലിലെ സമരത്തെ പിന്തുണയ്ക്കുകയും 1968-ൽ ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റ് പഠനം ആരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ബെൽജിയൻ ലേബർ, സോഷ്യൽ സെക്യൂരിറ്റി, ഇന്റർനാഷണൽ സോഷ്യൽ ലോ, കംപാരേറ്റീവ് സോഷ്യൽ ലോ, യൂറോപ്യൻ സോഷ്യൽ ലോ എന്നീ നാല് കോഴ്‌സുകളിൽ അവർ പഠനം നടത്തി. 1969-ൽ ULB യിലെ നിയമ ഫാക്കൽറ്റിയിൽ ചേർന്ന അവർ 1991-ൽ പ്രൊഫസറായി നിയമിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങൾ സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നതിൻറെ പേരിൽ ഏറെ പ്രശസ്തയായിരുന്ന വോഗൽ പോൾസ്കി ഒരു തൊഴിൽ നിയമ വിദഗ്ധയെന്ന നിലയിലും എലിയാൻസ് ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന റോം ഉടമ്പടിയിലെ ആർട്ടിക്കിൾ 119 ൻറെ പേരിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. പ്രായവിവേചനത്തെക്കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഡിഫ്രെനെ v സബേന (നമ്പർ 2) കേസിലും അവർ അഭിഭാഷകയായിരുന്നു. 1992-ൽ അധ്യാപന ജീവിതത്തിൻറെ പേരിൽ സ്പെയിനിലെ ലെയ്ഡ സർവ്വകലാശാലയിൽ നിന്ന് അവർക്ക് ഓണററി ഡോക്ടറേറ്റ് ലഭിച്ചു.[11][12][13][14][15][16]
