എഡ്ന ഫെർബർ
എഡ്ന ഫെർബർ (ജീവിതകാലം: ആഗസ്റ്റ് 15, 1885[1] – ഏപ്രിൽ 16, 1968) ഒരു അമേരിക്കൻ നോവലിസ്റ്റും ചെറുകഥാകൃത്തും നാടകകൃത്തുമായിരുന്നു. അവരുടെ പ്രശസ്ത നോവലുകളിൽ പുലിറ്റ്സർ പ്രൈസ് നേടിയ "So Big" (1924), "Show Boat" (1926), Cimarron (1929 ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ഈ നോവലിനെ അവലംബിച്ച് 1931ൽ സിനിമ നിർമ്മിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച ചിത്രത്തിനുള്ള അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ് നേടുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു), "Giant" (1952 ൽ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച ഈ നോവൽ 1956 ൽ ഹോളിവുഡ് ചിത്രമായി പുറത്തിറങ്ങി) എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.

Though she generally claimed 1887 as her birth year, an entry in her mother's diary reveals that Edna Ferber was born in 1885 in Kalamazoo, Michigan....
