ആന്റിപോഡിസ് ദ്വീപുകൾ
ആന്റിപോഡിസ് ദ്വീപുകൾ(from Greek αντίποδες - antipodes) ന്യൂസിലാന്റിലെ ഒരു കൂട്ടം അഗ്നിപർവ്വതദ്വീപുകൾ ആകുന്നു. ഇവയുടെ തെക്കൻ ഭാഗം അന്റാർക്ക്ടിക്കയുടെ അടുത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. സ്റ്റിവാർട്ട് ദ്വീപുകളുടെ 860 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണിവ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. 20 km2 (7.7 sq mi)വിസ്തീർണ്ണമുള്ള ആന്റിപോഡിസ് ദ്വീപ് ആണ് ഇതിൽ ഏറ്റവും വലുത്. ഉത്തരഭാഗത്ത് ബോളോൺസ് ദ്വീപ് ആണ്.

പാരിസ്ഥിതികമായി അന്റാർക്ടിക്ക് സമീപ ദ്വീപുകളായ ഇവ തുന്ദ്ര ഇക്കോപ്രദേശത്താണ്. ന്യൂസിലാന്റിന്റെ അന്റാർക്ടിക്ക് സമീപദ്വീപുകളെപ്പോലെ ആന്റിപോഡിസ് ദ്വീപുകളേയും യുൻസ്കോ ലോകപൈതൃകമായി തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തിട്ടുഃട്. ഈ ദ്വീപുകൾ പ്രകൃതിസംരക്ഷിതപ്രദേശങ്ങൾ ആകയാൽ യാതൊരാൾക്കും ഇവിടെ പ്രവേശനമില്ല.
