ആഞ്ചെല പിസ്‌കെർനിക്
ആഞ്ചെല പിസ്‌കെർനിക്(27 August 1886 – 23 December 1967) ആസ്ട്രോ-യുഗോസ്ലാവിക് സസ്യശാസ്ത്രജ്ഞയും പ്രകൃതിസംരക്ഷണപ്രവർത്തകയും ആയിരുന്നു.

ആഞ്ചെല പിസ്‌കെർനിക് ഓസ്ട്രിയായുടെ ഭാഗമായ ബാദ് ഐസെൻ-കപ്പെലിൽ ജനിച്ചു. വിയന്ന സർവ്വകലാശായിൽനിന്നും ഗവേഷണബിരുദം നേടി. [1] ലുബ്ലിയാനയിലെ പ്രവിശ്യാ മ്യൂസിയത്തിലും അവിറ്റത്തെ ചില സെക്കന്ററി സ്കൂളുകളിലും ജോലിചെയ്തു.
1943ൽ ആഞ്ചെല പിസ്‌കെർനികിനെ നാസികൾ ജയിലിലാക്കി, റാവ്ൻസ്‌ബ്രുക്ക് എന്ന കോൺസണ്ട്രേഷൻ ക്യാമ്പിലാക്കി. [2][3]ഓസ്ട്രിയൻ നോവലിസ്റ്റ് ആയ മാജ ഹാഡർലാപ്പിന്റെ ഏയ്ഞ്ചൽ ഓഫ് ഒബ്ലീവിയൻ എന്ന നോവലിൽ കഥാപാത്രമാക്കി.
