ഇംഗ്ലണ്ടിലെ ലണ്ടനിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു കൊളീജിയേറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റിയാണ്‌ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ഓഫ് ലണ്ടൻ [i] 1836-ലെ രാജശാസനം അനുസരിച്ച് നിലവിൽ വന്നതാണിത്[6] ഇപ്പോൾ 1994ലെ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ആക്റ്റ് ഓഫ് ലണ്ടൻ [7] അനുസരിച്ചാണ്‌ ഈ സർവകലാശാലയുടെ ഭരണനിർവ്വഹണം നടത്തിപ്പോരുന്നത്.[7] 18 കോളേജുകളും 9 റിസർച്ച് ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടുകളും[8] ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഇത് യുണൈറ്റഡ് കിങ്ഡത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ വിദ്യാർഥികൾ പഠനം നടത്തുന്ന സർവകലാശാലായാണ്‌.
