യൂറോമാസ്ററ്ക്സ്
അഗാമ കുടുംബത്തിൽ പെട്ട ഒരു ജീനസ് ഉരഗങ്ങൾ ആണ് യൂറോമാസ്ററ്ക്സ്. ആഫ്രിക്കയിലും ഏഷ്യയിലും ആണ് ഇവയെ കണ്ടുവരുന്നത്. മുഖ്യമായും സസ്യഭോജികൾ ആണെങ്കിലും പ്രായപൂർത്തിയാകുന്നത് വരെ ചെറു കീടങ്ങളേയും ചെറു ഇനം പല്ലികളെയും ഇവ ഭക്ഷണമാക്കാറുണ്ട് . രാവിലെ സമയം മുഴുവനും സൂര്യസ്നാനം ചെയ്യാൻ ഇഷ്ടപെടുന്ന ഇവ , എന്തെങ്കിലും അപകടം തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞാൽ ഉടനെ തങ്ങളുടെ മാളത്തിൽ ഒളിക്കുന്നു . സസ്യങ്ങൾ അടുത്തുള്ള ചെറു കുന്നുകളിലും പാറകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ പ്രദേശത്തതും ആണ് ഇവ മുഖ്യമായും വാസമുറപ്പിക്കുന്നത് .
