യൂട്യൂബിൽ അപ്‍ലോഡുചെയ്ത ആദ്യ വീഡിയോയാണ് മി അറ്റ് ദ സൂ (ഞാൻ മൃഗശാലയിൽ). ഇത് 2005 ഏപ്രിൽ 23 ന് പസഫിക് സമയം 20:27:12 ന് (2005 ഏപ്രിൽ 24 അന്താരാഷ്ട്രസമയം 2:17:12 നു) സൈറ്റിന്റെ സഹസ്ഥാപകൻ ജാവേദ് കരീം "jawed" എന്ന ഉപയോക്തൃനാമം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് അപ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്തു. വീഡിയോ റെക്കോർഡുചെയ്തത് ജാവേദ് കരീമിന്റെ ഹൈസ്കൂൾ സുഹൃത്ത് യാക്കോവ് ലാപിറ്റ്സ്കിയായിരുന്നു.[1][2][3][4] അതേ ദിവസം തന്നെ അദ്ദേഹം ഒരു യൂട്യൂബ് അക്കൗണ്ട് സൃഷ്ടിച്ചിരുന്നു. 18 സെക്കൻഡ് ദൈർഘ്യമുള്ള വീഡിയോ സാൻ ഡീഗോ മൃഗശാലയിൽ വച്ചാണ് യാക്കോവ് ചിത്രീകരിച്ചത്. ആനകളെ പ്രദർശിപ്പിക്കുന്ന കൊട്ടിലിനു മുന്നിൽ കരീമിനെ നിർത്തി. ആനകളുടെ നീളമുള്ള തുമ്പിക്കൈകളെ പറ്റി കരീം വിശദീകരിക്കുന്ന ഭാഗമാണ് വീഡിയോയിൽ ഉള്ളത്.[5],[6][7]
