pavoor lake is situated in between paravoor and mayyanad villages .the main part is in the west part of mayyanad. this lake is connected with ashtamudi lake with eravipuram canal.the narrow strip land between this lake and arabian sea is thanni(mayyanad village) and rest part is in eravipuram village which extend up to kollam beach
