തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളജ് സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് [[കേരളം|കേരളത്തിന്റെ]] തലസ്ഥാനമായ [[തിരുവനന്തപുരം]] നഗരത്തിലാണ്. 1951-ൽ ആരംഭിച്ച ഈ സ്ഥാപനം ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തത് ഇൻഡ്യയുടെ പ്രഥമ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രിയായ പണ്ഡിറ്റ് [[ജവാഹർലാൽ നെഹ്രു|ജവാഹർലാൽ നെഹ്രുവാണ്.]] കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തേതും ഏറ്റവും പ്രാധാന്യമേറിയതുമായ മെഡിക്കൽ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനമാണിത്. ദക്ഷിണേന്ധ്യയിൽ ഇതിന്റെ പ്രാധാന്യം കണക്കിലെടുത്ത് ഇപ്പോൾ ദേശീയ വൈദ്യശാസ്ത്ര ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് പദവിയിലേക്ക് കേന്ദ്രസർക്കാർ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിനെ ഉയർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. തിരുവനന്തപുരം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളെജ് ക്യാമ്പസിൽ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജും ആശുപത്രിയും കൂടാതെ നഴ്സിങ് കോളേജ്, റീജിയണൽ ക്യാൻസർ സെന്റർ, ശ്രീചിത്ര തിരുനാൾ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് ഓഫ് മെഡിക്കൽ സയൻസ് ആൻഡ് ടെക്നോളജി, ദന്തൽ കോളേജ്, ശ്രീ അവിട്ടം തിരുനാൾ ആശുപത്രി, പ്രിയദർശിനി പാരാമെഡിക്കൽ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ട് എന്നിവയും സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു.
