[[സോവിയറ്റ് യൂണിയൻ]] ഉത്തരകൊറിയയ്ക്ക് വ്യോമപിന്തുണ നൽകുകയും ചെയ്തു. 1950 ജൂൺ 25ന്‌ ആരംഭിച്ച യുദ്ധം 1953 ജൂലൈ 27ന്‌ സമാധാനഉടമ്പടി ഒപ്പുവച്ചതോടെ അവസാനിച്ചു.
