സുധീറിന് സ്വാഗതം. ഇംഗ്ളീഷ് Talk page-ല്‍ ഞാന്‍ എഴുതിയതു ദയവായി കാണുക. മലയാളം വിക്കിപീടിയയില്‍ ലേഖനങ്ങള്‍ ചേര്‍ക്കുംപൊള്‍ കഴിയുന്നതും വരമൊഴി തരുന്നതു അതുപോലെ ഉപയോഗിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുക. കാരണം ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള മിക്കവാറും ബ്രൌസറുകളില്‍ സ്ക്രീനില്‍ കാണുന്നതു [http://www.unicode.org യുണീക്കോഡിന്‍റ്‍റെ] ശരിയായ വിവര്‍ത്തനമല്ല. അതിനാല്‍ സ്ക്രീനില്‍ കാണുന്ന പല അക്ഷര "തെറ്‍റുകളും" ബ്രൌസര്‍, ഫോണ്ട്, ഓപെറേറ്‍റിംഗ് സിസ്റ്‍റം എന്നിവയില്‍ ഒന്നിന്‍റ്‍റെ തെറ്‍റായിരിക്കു,. വരമൊഴിയിലും ചില തെറ്‍റുകള്‍ കടന്നു കൂടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്, അതിനാല്‍ കഴിയുന്നതും വരമൊഴിയില്‍ എഴുതിയ ഇംഗ്ളീഷ് ലേഖനവും സൂക്ഷിച്ചുവക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിക്കുക. ഇതു വെറും താല്‍കാലികമായ ഒരു കരുതല്‍ മാത്രമാണു. [http://www.unicode.org/versions/Unicode4.0.0/ യുണീക്കോഡിന്‍റ്‍റെ പുതിയ പതിപ്പില്‍] മലയാളത്തിന് വേണ്ടി കൂടുതല്‍ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ അടങ്ങിയിട്ടുണ്ടുന്നു അറിയുന്നു. പുതിയ പതിപ്പു (വേര്‍ഷന്‍ ൪.൦) അധികം താമസമില്ലാതെ തന്നെ പ്രസിദ്ധപ്പെടുത്തും. അപ്പൊള്‍ വരമൊഴിയും ആ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചു തുടങ്ങും എന്ന് കരുതുന്നു.<br>
PS: The front page and the title of the article on Basheer have INCORRECT Unicode which is why many of the chillaksharams there are rendered correctly in Windows with InternetExplorer and Thoolika font. I made these "corrections" when I discovered the Thoolika font and found out how I can get proper chill~ rendering. Later I found out that the "corrections" I made were in fact wrong under the Unicode standard. I haven't reverted these since it doesn't make much sense to do that till we have a setup where things work well. But when adding new articles, please try to stick to Varamozhi output which is often correct Unicode though it renders incorrectly in our setup. There are still some outstanding issues in Unicode which we hope will soon be standardized. That's why keeping the Varamozhi Malayalam-in-English text is important for the time being. I'm thinking of starting a page in yahoo groups where such files can be stored temporarily. Please let me know what you think of this idea.
