ഇത് വെബ് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകള്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കാനുപയോഗിക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഫ്രെയിംവര്‍ക്ക് ആണ്. ഇത് പി.എച്.പി എന്ന വെബ് ഭാഷയിലാണ് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത്. വേഗത്തിലും എളുപ്പത്തിലും വെബ് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകള്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിക്കാന്‍ സഹായിക്കുക എന്നതാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ലക്ഷ്യം. അതിനാവശ്യമായ സഹായക പ്രോഗ്രാമുകള്‍ ഇതില്‍ ഉള്‍ക്കൊള്ളിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. എല്ലിസ് ലാബ് എന്ന കമ്പനിയാണ് ഇത് പുറത്തിറക്കുന്നത്. 2006 ഫെബ്രുവരി 28 നാണ് ആദ്യപതിപ്പ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്. ഇപ്പോള്‍ നിലവിലുള്ള പതിപ്പ് 2009 ഫെബ്രുവരി 10 നാണ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയത്
