You are right about the difficulty in explaining computer/internet ideas in our language. I guess words are getting inducted from English or getting created to express these new ideas. [vivarasangketika vidya for eg., though i'm not a big fan of that word]. But our language is as good as any other in expressing the more conventional ideas. Let's continue this discussion on the mailing list. And I think the more common spelling for computer is കമ്പ്യൂട്ടറ് (of course this doesn't look good under our setup because of a problem with the font, when that is fixed this will render as കന്പ്യൂട്ടര്). I think you might be getting the wrong unicode coding with the anuswaram, in spite of things looking proper in the Varamozhi window because of a bug in Varamozhi. A page on how to contribute is a good idea. I'll try to put one together mostly using material I've sent you and some extra stuff by the weekend. I was holding back on this since Varamozhi and Unicode rendering are not mature enough. Things have improved in the past couple of montha with the release of Thoolika fonts. I think it's the right time to go public with this. There remain a few teething troubles in Varamozhi's Unicode support which we can help Cibu iron out. ~[[user:vinodmp|വിനോദ്]] 21 May, 2003
