അങ്കോർ വാട്ട് നിലവിൽ കമ്പോഡിയയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരകേന്ദ്രമാണ്. കമ്പോഡിയയിൽ വരുന്ന വിദേശ വിനോദസഞ്ചാരികളുടെ 50 ശതമാനവും ക്ഷേത്രം സന്ദർശിക്കുന്നുണ്ടെന്ന് സർക്കാരിന്റെ കണക്കുകൾ പറയുന്നു. 2004-ൽ 5,61,000 ആൾക്കാരും 2005-ൽ 6,77,000 സഞ്ചാരികളും ഇവിടെ സന്ദർശിച്ചെന്നു കണക്കാക്കുന്നു.<ref>{{cite web
