'''ബസവരാജ് സോമപ്പ ബൊമ്മൈ''' (ജനനം: 28 ജനുവരി 1960) ഇന്ത്യൻ രാഷ്ട്രീയ പ്രവർത്തകനും കർണാടക സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ 23-ആമത് മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയാണ്. 2021 ജൂലൈ 28 ന് [[ബി.എസ്. യെഡിയൂരപ്പ|ബി. എസ്. യെദ്യൂരപ്പ]] സ്ഥാനമൊഴിഞ്ഞതിനേത്തുടർന്ന് അദ്ദേഹം കർണാടക സംസ്ഥാന മുഖ്യമന്ത്രിയായി.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/politics-and-nation/bjp-names-basavaraj-bommai-as-new-chief-minister-of-karnataka/articleshow/84795996.cms|title=BJP names Basavaraj Bommai as new chief minister of Karnataka|accessdate=27 July 2021|date=27 July 2021|publisher=[[The Economic Times]]}}</ref> 2008 മുതൽ 3 തവണയായി അദ്ദേഹം ഷിഗാവോൺ നിയമസഭാ മണ്ഡലത്തെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിച്ച് കർണാടക നിയമസഭയിൽ അംഗമാണ്. 1998 നും 2008 നും ഇടയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം കർണാടക ലെജിസ്ലേറ്റീവ് കൗൺസിൽ അംഗമായിരുന്നു.
നാലാം യെഡിയൂരപ്പ മന്ത്രിസഭയിൽ അദ്ദേഹം മുമ്പ് ആഭ്യന്തര, നിയമ, പാർലമെന്ററി കാര്യ മന്ത്രിയായിരുന്നു. ഹവേരി, ഉഡുപ്പി ജില്ലകളുടെ ചുമതലയുള്ള മന്ത്രിയായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. 2008 മുതൽ 2013 വരെ അദ്ദേഹം ജലവിഭവ സഹകരണ മന്ത്രിയായി പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. മുൻ കർണാടക മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി എസ്. ആർ. ബോമ്മയുടെ മകനാണ്. മെക്കാനിക്കൽ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗിൽ ബിരുദം നേടിയ അദ്ദേഹം ജനതാദളിലൂടെ തന്റെ രാഷ്ട്രീയ ജീവിതം ആരംഭിച്ചു.
