ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് എഴുത്തുകാരിയും കവിയിത്രിയും സാഹസികയുമായിരുന്നു ജാനെ ഗോമെൽഡൺ (നീ ജാനെ മിഡിൽടൺ; സി. 1720 - 10 ജൂലൈ 1779) [1]. ആദ്യകാല ഫെമിനിസ്റ്റ് എന്ന നിലയിൽ അവരുടെ എഴുത്തിന് മരണാനന്തര അംഗീകാരം ലഭിച്ചു.
