[[സി.പി.ഐ.|സി.പി.ഐ.യുടെ]] പ്രതിനിധിയായാണ് കെ. ശിവദാസൻ കേരള നിയമസഭയിലേക്കെത്തിയത്. കുമാരൻ-കുഞ്ഞി ദമ്പതികളുടെ മകനായി 1929 മാർച്ച് 7ന് ജനിച്ചു. അംബുജാക്ഷിയാണ് ഭാര്യ ആറ് കുട്ടികളുണ്ട്.
