1965-ൽ ഇബാദാനിൽ വെസ്റ്റേൺ നൈജീരിയ ടെലിവിഷന്റെ (ഡബ്ല്യുഎൻ‌ടിവി) ബിരുദ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് എഞ്ചിനീയറായി മഡുക ജോലി ചെയ്തു. 1965 മുതൽ 1966 വരെ ഇബാദാനിലെ വെസ്റ്റേൺ നൈജീരിയ ബ്രോഡ്കാസ്റ്റിംഗ് കോർപ്പറേഷന്റെ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ബിരുദ പരിശീലകയായിരുന്നു. 1966 മുതൽ 1970 വരെ ഇഫെ സർവകലാശാലയിൽ അപ്ലൈഡ് ഫിസിക്‌സ് വിഭാഗത്തിൽ ലക്ചററായിരുന്നു. കൺസൾട്ടിംഗ് എഞ്ചിനീയർമാർക്കുള്ള സ്ഥാപനമായ ലെക്കോം അസോസിയേറ്റ്‌സിൽ 1970-ൽ ചേർന്ന അവർ 1975-ൽ അവിടെ പ്രധാന പങ്കാളിയായി.<ref name=early />
