തായ്‌ലാന്റ് ഉൾക്കടലിന്റെ തെക്കേ അതിർത്തി തെക്കൻ വിയറ്റനാമിന്റെ കേപ് ബായ് ബങ്ക് ആണ്. മലേഷ്യൻ തീരത്തിന്റെ കോട്ട ബാറു നഗരത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തേക്കാണിത്. മെകോങ് നദീ മുഖത്തിന് നേരെ തെക്കാണ് ഈ ഭാഗം.
