[[ഇന്ത്യ|ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യയിലെ]] ഒരു നദിയാണ് '''പെണ്ണാർ'''. [[കർണാടക|കർണാടകയിലെ]] [[കോലാർ]] ജില്ലയിലെ നന്ദി മലനിരകളിലാണ് ഇതിന്റെ ഉദ്ഭവം. 560 കിലോമീറ്റർ (350 മൈൽ) ആണ് ഇതിന്റെ നീളം. ഉദ്ഭവസ്ഥാനത്തുനിന്ന് വടക്ക് ദിശയിലും പിന്നീട് കിഴക്ക് ദിശയിലും [[ആന്ധ്രാപ്രദേശ്]] സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലൂടെ ഒഴുകുന്നു. [[ഡെക്കാൻ സമതലം|ഡെക്കാൻ സമതലത്തിന്റെ]] തെക്കൻ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽനിന്നാണ് പെണ്ണാറിനും അതിന്റെ പോഷക നദികൾക്കും ജലം ലഭിക്കുന്നത്. [[നെല്ലൂർ|നെല്ലൂരിന്]] 15 കിലോമീറ്റർ കിഴക്കുള്ള [[ഉടുകുരു]] എന്ന പ്രദേശത്ത്‌വച്ച് പെണ്ണാർ [[ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടൽ|ബംഗാൾ ഉൾക്കടലിൽ]] ചേരുന്നു.
