'''പേർസെപൊലിസ്''' ( പഴയ [[പേർഷ്യൻ]] Pārśa പുതിയ [[പേർഷ്യൻ]] تخت جمشيد Takht-e Jamshid or پارسه Pārseh ) പേർഷ്യക്കാരുടെ നഗരം എന്ന് അർത്ഥമുള്ള നഗരമാണ്. അക്കെമെനൈഡ് സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ (ca. 550–330 BCE) തലസ്ഥാനം ആയിരുന്നു പേർസെപൊലിസ്. ഇന്നത്തെ [[ഇറാൻ|ഇറാനിൽ]] ഷിറാസ് നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്നും എഴുപത് കിലോമീറ്റർ വടക്ക്കിഴക്കാണ് ഈ നഗരം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഈ പ്രാചീന നഗരത്തിന് 515 BCE വരെ പഴക്കമുണ്ട്. അക്കെമെനൈഡ് വാസ്തുവിദ്യ പ്രകാരമാണ് ഈ നഗരം നിർമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. [[യുനെസ്കോ]] ഈ നഗരത്തെ ലോക പൈതൃക പ്രദേശമായി 1979ൽ പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു.
