[[കേരളം|കേരളത്തിലെ]] [[തിരുവനന്തപുരം]] ജില്ലയിലെ ഒരു പട്ടണവും മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയുമാണ് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര. തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 20 കിലോമീറ്റർ കിഴക്കായി [[ദേശീയപാത 544 (ഇന്ത്യ)|ദേശീയപാത 544-ൽ]] [[കന്യാകുമാരി|കന്യാകുമാരിയിലോട്ടുള്ള]] വഴിയിലാണ് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചരിത്രപ്രധാനമായ ഒരു പട്ടണമാണ് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര. [[മാർത്താണ്ഡവർമ്മ]] പല യുദ്ധങ്ങൾക്കും ഇടയ്ക്ക് ഒളിച്ചു താമസിച്ചിരുന്നത് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരയിലാണ്. നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരയിലും ചുറ്റുമുള്ള പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലും കൈത്തറി തുടങ്ങിയ കുടിൽ വ്യവസായങ്ങൾ ധാരാളമായി ഉണ്ട്. ഇന്ന് തിരുവനന്തപുരം നഗരാതിർത്തി നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര വരെ എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. മാർത്താണ്ഡവർമ്മ ഒളിച്ചുതാമസിച്ചിരുന്ന ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം നഗരത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഒരു സ്ഥലമാണ്. [[നെയ്യാർ]] നദിയുടെ തിരത്താണ് നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര. നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകര കവലയിൽ നിന്നും 4 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള കമുകിങ്കോട് സെന്റ് ആന്റണി ദേവാലയം പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. നെയ്യാറ്റിൻകരയ്ക്ക് അടുത്തുള്ള അരുവിപ്പുറവും ഒരു പ്രശസ്തമായ തീർത്ഥാടന കേന്ദ്രമാണ്.
